StudioDraft® developed a complete brand system for Relic, a luxury streetwear label rooted in mythic storytelling and a rebellious cultural attitude. The objective was to build a brand that goes beyond conventional streetwear aesthetics, creating an identity that feels timeless yet disruptive, drawing from ancient narratives while speaking to a new generation. Relic was envisioned as a brand for modern-day legends, individuals who challenge norms, question systems, and carve their own path.

The project began with in-depth brand positioning and narrative development. We defined Relic around the idea of mythology reinterpreted for contemporary culture, where stories of gods, warriors, and fallen heroes are translated into symbols of ambition, defiance, and identity. This narrative framework shaped the verbal identity, establishing a tone that is bold, cryptic, and evocative, designed to feel less like marketing and more like fragments of a larger mythos.

Visually, the identity is built on a brutalist design approach, raw, structured, and unapologetically bold, fused with mythological cues to create a distinctive and ownable aesthetic. The wordmark was crafted to feel strong and enduring, while the overall typographic system balances aggression with control. Graphic elements draw inspiration from ancient symbols, sculptural forms, and archival references, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The interplay between rigidity and storytelling creates a visual language that feels both historic and futuristic.

A key focus was building a flexible yet consistent brand system that could scale across all touchpoints. From apparel graphics and packaging to digital platforms and campaign assets, every element was designed to reinforce Relic’s identity. The system allows for expressive storytelling while maintaining a strong underlying structure, ensuring that the brand remains cohesive even as it evolves.
